What Happened
In the Ingram Content Group breach reported in July 2026, the ransomware group ShinyHunters allegedly compromised the company’s systems after failed ransom negotiations and claimed to have exfiltrated internal data from ingramcontent.com. Public reporting says a searchable database later indexed the allegedly exposed information and found about 80,190 rows containing names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, and Social Security numbers, though the breach had not been officially confirmed by the company in the cited reports.
