What Happened
In March 2026, cybersecurity intelligence identified a “Community Liquidation” listing on a hacker forum revealing the breach of AI Builder Club (aibuilderclub.com), a platform for AI developers and innovators, with the incident occurring in February 2026. Threat actors exfiltrated over 14,000 user records from the platform’s internal database, including personally identifiable information (PII) such as full names and verified email addresses, system identifiers like unique user IDs (UIDs) and customer IDs, financial and subscription metadata (price IDs, access privileges, and spending habits), account creation/update timestamps, and user-uploaded images (avatars or profile photos). The leak enables risks like industrialized phishing, spear-phishing against technical users, credential stuffing on AI/cloud services, and identity impersonation, highlighting vulnerabilities in community management security for AI-focused platforms.
