What Happened
In October 2015, the manga website Go Games suffered a data breach that exposed 3.4 million customer records. The compromised data included email addresses, IP addresses, usernames, and passwords stored as MD5 hashes. The breach occurred on October 24, 2015, but was not discovered and added to breach databases until January 11, 2020. Go Games did not respond when contacted about the incident, and the data was later provided to breach tracking services by dehashed.com.
