What Happened
In the Predige.com data breach, discovered on August 1, 2024, the French luxury goods e‑commerce platform Predige (predige.com) was found to have exposed 21,393 customer records. According to breach reporting (including Heroic’s DarkHive listing), the compromised data included email addresses, usernames, and hashed passwords, and in some cases additional account details typical of e‑commerce user profiles. The incident appears to have stemmed from unauthorized access to a database containing site user credentials, potentially enabling credential‑stuffing or account‑takeover attempts against affected users’ other online accounts.
